Helical Stair & Raw Plaster House

The Story

A townhouse apartment re-centred on a sculptural helical stair, wrapped in raw plaster and warm minimalism.

The brief asked for one gesture worth keeping. We gave the apartment a helical stair — cast in place, finished in raw plaster — and let every other room orbit it. Storage walls run flush and doorless; daylight is borrowed between rooms through internal fanlights. The result is calm, continuous space with a single sculptural heart.
