The Story

A timber-slated civic gallery where daylight is filtered through a rhythm of vertical fins, softening the threshold between street and sanctuary.

The gallery is organised around a single top-lit atrium. Slatted cedar screens modulate the southern light into a quiet, even glow, allowing the artwork — and the visitor's eye — to rest. Circulation spirals upward around the void, so the building itself performs as the first exhibit: structure, shadow and sky in slow rotation.
